Digital Humanities and History

The blog’s main objective is to contribute to the strengthening of a bridge between digital enthusiasts and digital skeptics in the History academic milieu. The point here will be not to convince History students, researchers and teachers of the supposed marvels of a also supposed digital revolution, but to resort to concrete examples of research and discussion of results, tools and methods to increase the flow on this bridge that still divides historians from Information Technology. The assumption is that this flow will bring more advantages than disadvantages to historical knowledge and to history’s professional practitioners.
